Pendulum Instruments, a global expert in the measurement, analysis, and calibration of Time and Frequency, today announced that its FTR-210R GNSS disciplined Rubidium Frequency & Time Reference was recognized among the best by the 2024 Military + Aerospace Electronics Innovators Awards program. A Silver nomination in the Test & Measurement Category was bestowed upon Pendulum Instruments for marked improvement over previous methods employed, approaches taken, or products/systems used.

The FTR-210R Rubidium Frequency & Time Reference provides Cesium-type stability thanks to GNSS based disciplining. Its optional integrated frequency calibrator which guarantees true traceability to NIST and GPS-time scale, is the innovation which sets the unit apart from any other frequency reference available today. The calibrator’s circuit independently monitors and compares the 1-pps output signals of the GNSS receiver and Rubidium oscillator to obtain traceable calibration data which is also available for reporting purposes.
